Blog For Money and Fun

This is the second of two blogs that Manas Kabiraj asked me to review. "Blog For Money and Fun" isn't nearly as ad-laden as his other blog, but then he hasn't been putting as much work into this one.

Generate FreeTraffic Online Money Paid to Review Blogging Tips Promotion & Marketing

This is the first of two blogs that Manas Kabiraj asked me to review. "Generate FreeTraffic Online Money Paid to Review Blogging Tips Promotion & Marketing" must be the longest blog title I have ever seen. This should probably give you an idea which way this review is going to go.

Article Reviews #3: Blogs At BloggingZoom

Categories: Article Reviews Tags: , , , , , , , RT Cunningham @ 4:05 pm

Magnifying Glass If you're searching for something to read, and you don't know where to start, the published posts at BloggingZoom is a place I'd recommend wholeheartedly. If you want to read the best of the best, and not deal with a bunch of whimpering 12-year olds, this is the place to go.

  • There is no such thing as "easy money", as Don Miller reasoned at Making Sales Making Money with "The Lure of Easy Money, It’s Gotta Very Strong Appeal". Market your knowledge, not your time and money.
  • Terry Didcott at Make Money Hints explained why producing fresh content regularly keeps you higher in the SERPS (search engine results pages) than irregular posting. I think he overdid the "fast make money" phrase, but that's just my opinion.
  • Steve McGrath of McGrath Dot Ca successfully goaded some fellow bloggers, including me, into reading something different from what is assumed by proclaiming that Court, Vic, Griz, X Are Full Of … I have to agree with his assessment. Really.
  • Rod listed some things about "Wordpress 2.5: What You Need To Know" at BloggingNotes.net. What he didn't know is that the new widget code breaks some of the pre-2.5 widgets, something I quickly found out during my recent upgrade.
  • Just like me, Shamim of TeqEdge Blog experienced broken plugins and wrote "Wordpress 2.5 - Know Before Upgrading". I wish I read it before I started upgrading. Luckily, I was able to fix the plugins I use; the ones that hadn't been upgraded yet.
  • Grizzly pointed out that Internet marketing isn't blogging at How to Make Money Online for Beginners. He issued a challenge that I felt obligated to ignore because I'm not much of a marketer, at least not yet.
  • Costa vented his frustrations about meta blogging back in January at Blog Gigs. I'll repeat what I wrote in the comments: Unless you’re trying to get rich off your blog, I say don’t worry about it. You can always start another that focuses on another topic. The key is to enjoy what you’re doing. If you aren’t, then you need to stop and concentrate on something else.
  • Jason Clark, one of the guys responsible for Pop Critics (which is in my queue to be reviewed) told us that there's no country for boring Oscars. The movie disc, No Country For Old Men, is sitting near my computer. Since it won best picture, maybe I should watch it.
  • Back to Don Miller again. He announced "Monika Mundell Joins the Team and More". That lady seems to be popping up in a whole bunch of places I have in my feedreader. This is a good thing, I assure you.
  • Speaking of Monica Mundell… her latest article at The Writers Manifesto Blog is about creating BANS clone sites they easy way, with WordPress. I'm glad I read this, because now I know I can do it as soon as I can get to it. I have some issues I have to work out, or I'd be on it already.
