Blog Review: Greatest Reviews
I don't know about you, but when someone touts a title like "Greatest Reviews", I expect to find just that. I found so many things wrong with this blog when I first looked at it, I didn't want to do a review.
What is "Greatest Reviews" all about?
I'll be honest. I don't have a clue. It's supposed to be about reviews of some kind, but I only saw 3 or 4 posts that were worthy of being called a review. If you're writing about online services, software or whatever, I guess that could be called a review.
Site Design
The site design looks fine. It is, after all, a Blogger blog. There's only so much you can do without hacking the template. The sidebar, however, is way too busy. I found myself looking at the sidebar far more often than the content.
Article and Post Content
I tried. I really tried. I could not find any one article compelling enough to write about. Agent 001's very first article was Guest Blogging on Greatest Reviews, which tells me that this person wasn't serious about writing for his/her blog from the very start.
There have been a grand total of 25 posts written since January. That's not regular enough to be called regular. You know something's wrong when there are almost twice as many categories as there are posts.
My Overall Opinion
I honestly do not understand why I was asked to review this blog. There isn't enough content, in my opinion, to fill a period of one month and it's stretched out to nearly 5 months. I'm disappointed in the effort put into the blog.
I normally don't fault someone who speaks or writes English as a second language, but the least you can do is have someone (anyone) do some basic proofreading for you. Besides the many grammatical mistakes, the punctuation leaves a lot to be desired. There should always be at least one space between sentences. I agree that no one's perfect, but the writing on this blog is almost as far from perfect as you can get.
My final opinion is that this blog will not last long. The author is going to school and doesn't do enough with it to make it worthwhile. I can't recommend it to anyone.
Would you like a Review?
My reviews are not the best, and I won't pretend they're even close to being the best, but they're free! You can't beat that with a stick. Submit your blog on my Request A Blog Review page and I'll see if I can do your blog justice.

Thanks for you opinions but let me tell you one thing the Guest Blogging post is written only 5 days ago. I just put it in January month. Should I change it.I have done blogging for only 3 months.I appreciate your review and try my best to be better.

You should have it placed in the month it was done. By moving things into other places, it just looks unorganized.

Well thanks friend. Will you like to participate in My Blog Contest. Link http://tinyurl.com/3swy62
It has 1172$ of prizes. I am working on your advices and decreased the number of categories. Removed some widgets.
I have some advice for you. I feel you should ask your visitors to share their view points as comments. You should even contact blog owners before putting the reviews.

Visitors are always welcome to add their comments. If they weren't, I'd turn the comments off. Contacting the owners before putting up the reviews is out of the question. The reviews would be influenced by their desires and that doesn't help anyone.
