What is "How to Win as a Forex Trader" all about?

Taken directly from Vad's "about" page, the "site is devoted to mostly beginners to help in whether starting Forex trading, choosing the right trading system or just getting introduced into the Forex market. Here you can find fresh articles that are beginner oriented and written by experts and experienced Forex traders."

I don't know enough about Forex to explain it any better.

Site Design

The theme is nicely designed and the colors are easy on the eyes. The ingredients I always look for, like the "about" page and the contact page, are all there.

I'm not sure I agree with the "Sitemap" page of combining categories and pages. To me, it's much simpler for readers to find what they're looking for when archives, categories, tags and static pages are listed in separate places.

I have one contention with the articles themselves. Since Vad accepts articles from outside sources, it's almost a requirement that every article identify the author. The few that I looked at didn't indicate who wrote them. In fact, I didn't see author information anywhere. I only know Vad's name from his review request.

Article and Post Content

I read the latest article, "How to Choose Automated Forex Trading Software", and thought it was good advice. However, the author didn't recommend any particular software package or compare any. I think that would have taken the article from good to great.

Most of the other articles have good references and advice as well.

My Overall Opinion

This would be a much more valuable resource if there was some level of trust instilled into the minds of readers. One way of instilling trust is to identify yourself whenever possible. What makes you an authority on a subject? What's your experience?

Forex trading is a risky business. If this website is to continue offering advice about it, a trust level must be attained. At the present time, I wouldn't take the advice of this site over any other.
